New forum, new player bid page and more!

If you are a daily user of [url=/forums/int]Virtual Manager's forums[/url] you have already noticed the change: Today we uploaded a new version of Virtual Manager with a new forum system. The forum has always been a popular place for our most enthusiastic users who use it to discuss ideas, problems, player deals and even subject not related to Virtual Manager at all.
The forum has not been updated at all since 2007. Therefore, we thought it was about time it got some love.
The most notable change is the new navigation: it is now found on the left (instead of on the top). We've primarily done this for these reasons. [list] The top menu (My club, Trade, Office...) is horizontal. By making the forum menu vertical they are easier to split apart for the eye. The widths of texts in the forum have decreased. This makes it easier to read long texts. [/list] On top of this, we have made a lot of small navigation and layout optimizations. This is just the beginning however. With this forum we are able to integrate it to our notifications system. This means that you will be able to subscribe to a certain topic and the get notified whenever someone replies.
Besides this, the player bid page has also been optimized. The reason we made this change was primarily as good idea we got from a Danish user. He suggested there should be a warning whenever you tried to make a very high bid on a player, to prevent you from making a mistake. We have implemented that idea. In addition we also gave the layout a makeover by emphasizing the most important elements. Overall, the page should be much easier to use now.
During the last months, we have seen some stability issues with the site around 11pm because many managers trained at once. With the new version this problem should now be solved. However, it will not work until tomorrow; we have to do some database maintenance work first.
We have to close the site while doing this work. Virtual Manager will therefore be unavailable tonight between 12:15am og 2:15am.
We know the new forum can take some time getting used to, but we hope you will give it a fair chance. We know there are still a few bugs, they will be fixed tomorrow morning!

Well first of all the forum is way more easier to use now which is good. i would like to mention that i dont like the new way of stickies and opslag (cant remember the word) are now. it aint goodlooking. otherwhise good job. KIU.
Why haven't you sorted this bug out ? I want 25 million or the player back, I have paid you my money for 18 months waiting for a top player, I report it and I want action.

As for your compensation we have a lot of support cases going on. We're trying to get through them all as fast as possible and hopefully it won't be long before we get to your ticket.
So, we did not make a new forum solely because we thought that a new forum was exactly what you guys needed. We did it partially to ensure the stability and speed of the overall website.
I hope this clarifies something.
We have been taking ideas from the English idea list a lot of times, but with 40.000 users and 2 developers it hard to use (or even read through!) all ideas that are posted.

Are you sure you have not decreased your font size in your browser by accident?
Try hitting Ctrl + 0 (if Windows) or Cmd + 0 if Mac - this should get you back to standard text size if you're using Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox.
If you still having the issues, could you please file a bug rapport on it? Preferably with a screenshot. That would help us a lot.
During the coming days I will try to increase the font size a bit.
Sort it out.
