Adjustment of the club name rules
We have recently adjusted the club name rules: names no longer need to "sound" like a club's name. For instance, that means you can now name your club "I like pie" if you want to.
There are several reasons we removed this rule: [list] It was extremely hard to judge which names violated it. A lot of people were frustrated with our name validators because they had a different interpretation of the rule. It made "silly" names impossible - and that's actually a shame because they brought life, humor, and warmth to the game because it was introduced. It has appeared to be very hard to enforce this rule for new rules. The result was that the rules in pratice was different for new and existing club. But based on the experience and research I've done in this area, I'm the sure the good outweighs the bad.
But if you know of any offensive club names, please do send us a note
It now gives Names validators a licence to use "Common Sense".
It also now allows people to have fun names showing that they are out to have fun and not take it too seriously, for example, Fuzzie Wuzzies?
I love hearing names like "Inter your gran"
So your telling me you taking another thing away from paying customers without giving them something else?
By using the phrase "For the moment" I was just suggesting that this decision might change at some point like. Like everything else in this game, this decision is not final and subject to change.
