Stardawg FC

Smoking the Opposition

Written 20 February 2021, 00:30

For the past 15+ matches, the ever-revamping squad of Stardawg FC continues to roll up and blaze all but one opposition team in the lowest tier of English football. In the manager's defence, he took the club over halfway through the season with players that my grandmother could beat.

But enough about that; The young squad of promising players (Averaging a rating of 26 with the upper quartile in the 40's) continues to keep their clean sheet and win streak, cruising through a league of abandoned teams and only facing 1 serious opposition: Superkog FC. They have some Solid players, just not enough squad depth to match that quality. Consequently they lost 2-0. This will not worry them though, as Stardawg FC are over 10 points behind their human opposition. At this point in the season, the manager, Nick Kush, after searching 10 minutes for his lighter and rolling papers, was quoted to be happy settling for 2nd place, while distinctively standing out from the other contenders in terms of goal difference and points.

Afterwards, Nick Kush was seen driving away in his 2004 Honda Civic, billowing suspicious amounts of smoke from his car windows.
