Owner reveals shocking changes!

Written 23 December 2013, 22:18

New club owner, Tony Fernandes has revealed the changes he is going to be making to the club in a statement he made in a news conference.

"I have gathered you here today, to reveal the plans of the long-term future of this club, and the changes I will be making with immediate effect. Firstly, I will be changing the club kit from red, to blue. This may dissapoint some supporters, but this will increase the clubs seasonal income by 43,000 C and this gives the club more publicity which increases our supporters! The second change, I will be making is, the change, of, the club name. I totally understand the frustration this has brought to the supporters, but it is important we stop living in the past, and start living in the present! This new name, is a sign of a new era which will quickly see us promoted hopefully. The new name, will be, Peterborough Academy. Now, our third change, is the change of the stadium name, which will be London Road Stadium."

"Our first beneficial change, will be that the club will be having it's very own tv programme. This channel will be called Posh.TV, and will run 24 hours a day. We shall reveal the weekly schedule in the next couple of hours to all our supporters, and it will be provided for free to all ourclub season ticket holders!"

"Our next change, will be that the club board will be investing 200,000 C into the clubs seasonal transfer budget for manager, Brendan Rodgers, to spend and hopefully we will gain promotion in the next three seasons which is our target for Brendan Rodgers to gain!"

"We are also looking to extend contracts with manager Brendan Rodgers, our sponsor, Unisport, and our TV deal with Sky Sports, which we would like to all extend by 4 years!"

Further details regarding these plans will be revealed in the near future.
