B&L - News and Announcements

This new thread does what it says on the tin. It will be used to notify forums users of new things that we will be doing or any other announcements regarding Banners and Logos to keep you right up to date.

News & Announcements to date:

14th December 2014 -
1 - We will shortly be announcing some changes to the forum rules of this forum. We are looking to make the forum more interactive and relax some aspects of the current rules to make them less strict. In particular, we will be allowing more communication between the requester and the graphic maker.

2 - Towards the end of December we will be looking to bringing back the Banner & Logo of the month competition.

3 - We also have a new moderating structure which currently is:

Head Moderator - Royal Antwerp - Mario
Moderator - Warbury Warriors FC - Dave
Moderator - Rangers FC Academy - Paul

4 - In the coming days we will be opening an application process to search for potential applicants for a new B&L moderator, as we are looking for some new names to add to our team.

15th December 2014 -
1 - Application process for new B/L moderator opens.

2 - New system and rules take effect.

30th December

1- As you will have probably noticed by now, we have two new moderators in the B&L forum. They are Tom (Dothraki Horde) and Grant (Grants Troops).

2- The B&L of the month award will be back up and running on 4th January. That will be for December's B&L of the month. More on the voting process will be released on the 4th.

You can comment, details about the vacancy will be released in the very near future.

He was drafted in as cover as we did not have enough active moderators. He helped out a lot but he has just started a new job so it would be unfair on him if he had to run his team as well as all the forums

As you will have seen we have a new system in place regarding conversations between requesters and makers to try make this forum more interactive and user-friendly. Obviously the new editing posts idea may take some getting used to, so we will be looking to help you guys understand it initially, as opposed to sanction incorrect use.

The new system is in effect immediately, so in topics where there have been individual posts for each question/comment, can you please now try and follow this structure.

Any questions regarding the new system, can be posted here.

Secondly, you may have noticed we have a couple of discussion threads in B&L recently, we have decided to allow these types of threads to be posted in B&L so you, the community, can share ideas and thoughts just like in any other forum. So feel free to post a topic, just make sure its relevant and complies with wider forum rules.

We hope to add some more new things over the coming weeks, and hope that you enjoy the new lease of life here in Banners and Logos.
