I am restarting this for the new 2010/11 Premier League Season as it starts in 2 weeks time, so here is the first lot of fixtures. Note that there is a new scoring system and a new layout for the fixtures.

The new pointing system works out as follows:
  • Wrong outcome -10 :- Example: You predict Arsenal 1 - Chelsea 1 and the result is Arsenal 1 - Chelsea 2
  • Correct outcome but wrong goal difference +10 :- Example: You predict Arsenal 2 - Chelsea 1 and the result is Arsenal 4 - Chelsea 2
  • Correct outcome and correct goal difference +15 :- Example: You predict Arsenal 2 - Chelsea 1 and the result is Arsenal 3 - Chelsea 2
  • The draw predicted correctly but incorrect result +20 :- Example: You predict Arsenal 2 - Chelsea 2 and the result is Arsenal 1 - Chelsea 1
  • Correct result +30 :- Example: You predict Arsenal 1 - Chelsea 2 and the result is Arsenal 1 - Chelsea 2
  • Correct Banker Placement (x2) :- If you place the Banker Chip on any correct outcome your points score for that fixture is multiplied by 2.
  • Correct Insurance Placement (insurance) :- Example: If you placed your Insurance chip on a fixture whose outcome you predicted incorrectly then the worst you can score is 0.

You may of noticed there are 2 new things im introducing as well, The Banker which gets you x2 more points and The Insurance which means you can't get minus points. For both of these bonuses you can only use them once for each set of fixtures.

The fixtures are as followed for week 1:

Aston Villa v West Ham, 15:00

And its what people think the score will be, I think it will be a tight game but Birmingham will just edge as they have made some good signing and Sunderland as far as i know aint added much signings.

Riveros, (At quater- final stage he was rated best midfielder in the tournament)
Al-Muhamidi (One of the best attacking left back I have seen play for Sunderland)

Also Signed Mingolet a young U-21 Belgium goalkeep
Angeleri Left back from Estuandes
Tight Arse Shambles- But who knows smiley He was a good little player for Wigan, not so much so for Newcastle smiley

Not to mention we have Henderson, Waghorn, Reid, Richardsn, Malbranque and Cambell back to full fitness smiley

I know a guy called Jim, he is 58 and made his money betting on horses, he says along the lines of don't make a bet unless you know the form of everything about the horse. It also applies to football, you can say Barcelona will beat Brentford, but if you don't know the form of the players you never know smiley

'Birmingham will just edge as they have made some good signing'

They have signed Zigic, who is decent player but not a prolific goal scorer, maybe act like a wet-clothed Crouch, scoring less goals and helping with less assists, and Foster....
