Game Rules
The rules are written for the sake of the user to improve the overall gameplay experience. We hope all users will enjoy Virtual Manager in the spirit it was created!
§1. User account

1.1. One club
You are not allowed to operate more than one club.

1.2. Email
To play Virtual Manager you must use a valid and personal email address. This email address must be under complete control of the owner of the club. The owner has the responsibility of securing his/her email. For example, by choosing a password that is hard to guess.

1.3. Responsibility
The club owner is fully responsible for all actions done by that club.

1.4. Password
It is the responsibility of the club owner to choose a password that is not easily guessable and to make sure it is never shared with others.

1.5. Handovers
It is not allowed to transfer the ownership of a club or other Virtual Manager values (i.e. players and Credits) to another person.

1.6. Helpers
It is allowed to let friends watch out for one's club in a period of maximum two weeks. In this period the club is not allowed to trade players or discover youth players.

1.7. Scripts and bots
Any use of bots/scripts is prohibited. It is only allowed to play through the interface provided by Virtual Manager.

1.8. Account is personal
A club account is personal and may only be used by the same person who created the club. In some circumstances you are allowed to let a friend tend to your club - see section 1.6
§2. Etiquette

2.1. Tone
All communication must be in a considerate tone and cannot be condescending nor offensive.

2.2. Naming
Improper club names are not allowed. Administrators will change these with no warning.

2.3. Threats
Threatening other managers is not allowed.

2.4. False identity
It is not allowed to pretend to be from the official Virtual Manager team.

2.5. Advertising
All kinds of advertising are prohibited unless a special agreement has been made with Virtual Manager. This includes reference links to other sites, references to players, and invitations to buy any kind of product. However, advertising players is allowed in the player sales forums, press releases, or shoutbox messages.

2.6. Spam
Spam and the like are prohibited in Virtual Manager.

2.7. Public accusations
Accusing other managers of breaking the gamle rules publicly is forbidden. Accusations must instead be sent via the support system.

2.8. Links
It is prohibited to post links to sites that has inappropriate content, are copyright infringing, or in any way illegal according to law.

2.9. Hacking
Hacking other clubs are prohibited. This includes unauthorised use of others' clubs and attempting to obtain other clubs' login information.
§3. Bugs
- Bugs must be reported to an administrator and must not be exploited. Misuse of bugs is punished.
§4. Trade

4.1. Prices
You are not allowed to trade players with the intent of transferring credits from one club to another. This includes trading players at prices far exceeding their market value.

4.2. Currency
All trade in Virtual Manager must be based on the currency of the game, Credits. It is prohibited to sell Virtual Manager items for real money.

4.3. Fixed pricing
Fixed pricing is prohibited. This means you must not give discount to a selected group of managers.

4.4. Loans
It is prohibited to borrow Credits or players from another club.

4.5. Barters
A legal deal can only include one player and one amount of Credits. Thus, a deal cannot be part of a barter deal including several players or several amounts of Credits.
§5. Punishment

5.1. Penalty
In case the game rules are broken, a Virtual Manager crew member will give the appropriate punishment. Possible punishments include, but are not limited to, Credit fines, ban from chat, ban from forum or ban from the entire game.

5.2. Compensation
Loss of players, Credits, and/or other in-game values while a club is banned is not compensated.
§6. Rule changes
- Rules can be changed over time.
