Upcoming feature: Old Boys league!

I hope no one is too disappointed, but we won't be seeing an Old Boys league in the game any time soon ;)

We all know the feeling - your favourite player retires, and you wish he could stay on your team just a little longer. Especially if you've been developing a player throughout his whole career since age 15, it can be hard to see him leave the club.

That's why I'm pleased to announce our next big project on Virtual Manager: an Old Boys league!

In the coming weeks we will be implementing an Old Boys league where your retired players can get back onto the pitch for a few more matches. It will only apply to players who started in your club and have played with you for at least 10 years of their lives.

Old Boys matches won't give you any entrance fees, but instead you'll be able to sell beer, soft drinks and hot dogs.

As a bonus effect, having an Old Boys match will boost the mood for all your players, since they help to cultivate a sense of community in the club.
