He was already a legend in the club's history but Golf Boys of Vilnius' talismanic striker Ed Abromaitis has now become the first player to play 500 games for the Lithuanian men. In typical Abromaitis style he marked the occasion by scoring the only goal of the game to further enhance his phenomenal goal scoring record for the club.

In Paul Scholes-esque fashion Abromaitis managed to sneak away from the ground avoiding the waiting journalists. His not so shy strike partner Tas Hurwitz duly obliged in Eddy Abro's place when confronted with the waiting throng of tabloid hacks. He said "Eddy yra sušikti legenda. Paprasta, kaip kad. Išlipęs iš My way Gaidys atžalų!"
