Progress Update 10th May 2014

Written 10 May 2014, 14:45

It has come to the attention of the clubs owners that the press department has not been doing its job for several months. The last press release was at the end of 2013. As such they have all been sacked, with the exception of the manager of the press department, who has been shot.

Whilst we recruit new press officers I will endeavor to produce a press release myself. Please bare with me as this may not be up to the clubs usual standards.

Since the last update the clubs young first 11 have (as well as getting old) moved from being based in Germany to Scotland. This relocation brings them a lot closer to our base in the North West of England which significantly reduces costs.

The guys have now established themselves as a 3rd division team and matured in to a very good young side. The current plan is to continue to develop them for a couple more months before making them available for purchase.

This week has seen an alarming slump in training standards with 5 of the 6 training sessions this week being extremely poor. This will impact the clubs finances this week at a time when it is least wanted. As we sit we are 1.3m away from being in a position to upgrade the clubs training facilities. This is now likely to be delayed by a further week. Whilst disappointing this is felt to be good progress given the club has only been in existence a little over a year.
Gate receipts for the week are on course for 500k which means the ground continues to sell out every week at 9C. For some weeks now we have needed to upgrade the stadium capacity but this decision has been delayed due to the imminent TG upgrade and subsequent sale of the first team players.

Thanks for reading, we look forward to the coming weeks. They are indeed exciting times here at FC Clock Face.
