Despite a hesitant start to the season, Rovers maintained an exhilirating challenge for the league title. Finishing level on points at the top of the table, Rovers were beaten to the title on goal difference. However there was emough of a gap so that Rovers acheived promotion to Division 6.
A new challenge lays ahead next season, and a few new players that have been brought in through this season, should make them a force at the next higher level.
