Happy Birthday Inter Futsal

A year old this week, from our start in England Div 8 to where we are now - on the verge of relegation back to Div 5 :-( !

Quite chuffed though: Standard Training Facility with a couple of Trainers, Doctors, Ground capicity of 5,000+ and a young squad in transition valued at over C15M.

I'm quite pleased with myself :-)

Hoping to be able hold our own in Div 3 by Xmas ?

Change of objective - will be happy to hold our own in Div 4 Gp 3 by Xmas as seems pretty tough compared to other Div 4's I've looked at.

Transition complete to a new younger team. Getting to Div 3 looks a little too optimistic so objective changed to holding our own in Div 4 by Xmas - up and down a few times I expect but .....

Just passed our two year birth date. Although our league standing may not look as if it has improved a great deal but after bouncing between Div 4 and Div 3 I believe we are now very close to taking the next step to Div 3 and staying there.

The standard between the divisions is quite considerable and there can't be many teams playing in higher divisions with squads as young as our own - may need to adjust strategy and let my squad age a bit longer!

As for now, the team remains young with much greater potential even though more investment has been placed in the ground and facilities.. Ground now expanded to 12,800 and training ground is now at the second highest, expanded training facility.
