Tapponautit have decided to move away from USA, and relocate to Spain. The team is currently playing in USA Division 3, Group 2, but will move to Spain at the start of next season. The GM of Tapponautit, Tappajanautti, explained the situation,

"After a long time, and many late nights of thinking, we have decided to move the club to Spain. I can assure you, it wasn't a easy decision, but we came to the conclusion that its the right one. The USA has been a wonderful place to play, but we feel that the change and new opportunities are needed. I know this may come as a shock to our fans, but I assure you, we will come back here to play for you. I would also like to thank each one of you for your incredible support for these last 17 seasons. It has been unbelievable to go out to every match, knowing that we have you behind us. We hope you all can understand this change, we still need you."

The team captain, John Mark Terry, had a emotional chat with us as well.

"First of all, i want to thank all of our fans here, it's been an honor to play infront of you, and your cheers and chants have given us so much needed strenght. I'm never gonna forget the feeling of playing for you, and im surely gonna miss it. I hope to see all of you very soon. I also have to say, im waiting for the opportunities and challenges playing in Spain gives us. It's quite nice moving to Europe, closer to home. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the fans here, you mean everything to me."

Tapponautit have previously played in Sweden for 19 seaons, Italy for 6 seasons, Greece for 19 seasons and France for 5 seasons.
