After Tapponautit captain John Mark Terry officially retired, the team needed a new captain. the GM Tappajanautti announced that Bryan Teetaert will take this role. The Dutch defender turns 30 today, so it works as a birthday gift for him. Teetaert has been with the club since pretty much the start. He was acquired 14.5.2017 with the sum of 375,002 Credits. He has played 757 matches with the team, scoring 1 goal. Here's his interview a day after the announcement.

"I cant believe this is true. I had hard time sleeping last night because i was so stunned. This is the greatest honor in my life. I know i cant do this better than Terry, but i promise to do my absolute best to represent this club like a captain should, but still remain humble and respective. I also want to thank the GM and the whole club for this. Thank you, i wont let you down."

Teetaert will replace his number 16 with Terry's former number 27, which is the captain number in the club.

Alternate captains will be, in order, Sani Ajuwa, Henk Blange and Atdhe Dallku.
