Celtic giving youth a chance

Written 12 January 2018, 12:45

Stalybridge are working on their aims the year by recruiting young and ambitious players. The owner has made this his policy throughout of 2018, with the aim to create a team filled with diverse talents of all ages. So far, we have signed a number of young players, including Ole Trøst, Markell Abbey and Franck Teza, all on free transfers. Franck rejoins us after being released last year. Unfortunately, he was unable to find employment with another club but has enjoyed a break from the game and is ready to start again. It has been made clear that our young players will be given the chance to play first team football on a regular basis, helping them to thrive at the club. In addition, they will also be able to train in high quality training facilities, in which we plan to upgrade over the current year. We hope that these players take the opportunity and enjoy long and successful careers at Bower Fold. Welcome and good luck!
