This season saw Methchester United capitalise on last season's 5th place finish, to finish 4th, just 4 points off the promotion places. The team lost 3 times in their opening 5 matches, but as they gained confidence and momentum, achieved an impressive run of 2 losses in 25.

Of the seasons fresh batch of youth players, one really did stand out, Jeremy Pasturei. The 15 year old achieved a decent level of training and improvement, and eventually sold for 200,000C. In other transfers, the team made a new record 570,000C and spent 660,000C.

Among the 660,000C of transfers, 6 new first team players were brought in:

MD Clive Farrow 170,000C - Brought in for the sold MD

The now retired FC - Ilia Elerdashvili praised the clubs fans for the support he received during his last few seasons, in his time at the club the striker notched up 54 goals in 49 games, 27 this week before retiring on Thursday. This was sought to be a problem for the team, as it would be hard to introduce a player that could score so prolifically. Enter Zhao-Dao Zemin, the striker brought into the club as the Georgian's replacement, who lit up the division scoring a inspiring 34 goals in just 18 games, including 6 in the 8-0 thrashing against Azinheira do Boirro, to be crowned MUFC's player of the season for 2015-09.

Next season the club wishes to again finish in the top 4, and make strides towards the next training ground upgrade. Hopefully another hot prospect can come through the ranks to make the team a profit to put towards the upgrade, and can Z.D. Zemin keep scoring? You'll have to wait and see!
