Today I will give you a lesson on Flags… know do not get to excited flags are serious business in this house.
I will start of easy with the 4 Bi-Coloured two striped flags of Poland, Indonesia, Monaco, and Ukraine. There are more flags that could be considered a Bi-Coloured with two background sections however these have symbols/emblems within the flag therefore, they are slightly more complex these being, Burkina Faso, Haiti, Bhutan, Belarus, San Marino, Vatican City, Pakistan, Algeria, Angola, Liechtenstein, Portugal, Malta, Singapore.
Now back to the lesson. Poland, Indonesia and Monaco have very similar flags an easy way to remember them is Poland has a White Top and a Red Bottom, where as Indonesia and Monaco have an identical Flag which has actually caused a bit of a displeasure with the Vexillology sector this is because Indonesia copied Monaco’s flags many years after Monaco actually registered it as theirs. This also occurred with Romania and Chad. When Chad copied Romania flag after gaining independence from France. Monaco and Indonesia have a Red Top with a White Bottom.
