In an absolute thriller, Crawley stormed into the 3rd round of the FA cup with a last gasp winner from Captain Hringhere Briers.

The game didn't start off well as the side from Devon pulled in front after just 11 minutes with a well crafted goal from Taiju Matsuba.
Some poor defending allowed a shot to be taken by the Japanese forward which nestled in the top corner and gave Bahery no chance.

However, just 8 minutes later, Crawley had a freekick 25 yards out. Joseph Ojomoh played a short pass to Josue Zisis who struck it into the bottom right corner.
And then just 5 minutes later, Hringhere Briers shot from the edge of the box and put it into the bottom left.
Dissapointment however, came yet again just 10 minutes later, as Jarl Cruckov Højris volleyed in a long throw in. At the end of the first half, it was stuck at 2-2 with both teams very even.

In the second half, the visitors started out lively but it was the reds who got the third goal. After some clever passing around the box, Atdhe Peçi struck to put the reds back in front. However, the greens continued to press and got their equaliser just 7 minutes from normal time. A through ball towards Jarl Cruckov Højris and he was through on goal and he tucked it away underneath Dezider Bahery. He celebrated with the rest of the 390 travelling supporters

It was extremely tight and there was time for one more attack. It was the last minute of injury time, and the referee put his whistle to his lips but Crawley had the ball in the attacking third. A counter attack was on and it was 3 vs 2. Peçi quickly passed it to the captain Hringhere Briers and he struck yet again to get a last gasp winner in front of the Bruce Winfield Stand.

After the game Briers commented, "That was amazing! To get into the next round is great, but to do it in that fasion? Brilliant."

Dermot Drummy also said, "We dug in deep and tried very hard as a team, and we got the result we wanted."

The celebrations afterwards went on for hours and although Crawley aren't living up to standards in the league, it certainly isn't the case in cup competitions.
Wembley? Who knows? smiley
