Sharp reviews ‘tough’ season:

Joseph Sharp reviews what he thought was a tough season.
“Overall, I thought this season was tough. I had to come in during the middle of the season where the club was not in a good state. We had a few good results before then such as the 1-0 win over Zlatan Allatars, who ended up in a good position of 5th, but I had come in after a poor run. I think the players should be proud of how they performed, scoring 1.1 goals a game, but managing to finish 11 points from the relegation zone.”

“I will admit, I was aiming for a top 10 finish, only 15 defeats maximum, but given where we were, I feel a lot of fans were happy to see us stay up. Next season will be interesting, with sides like Torquay coming down and newly-founded Prudhoe coming up. Me and Martin (Allen) are currently reviewing the squad to see who should stay for what we hope to be a successful season.”
