Crawley Town 1-2 MDHJ FC

Written 2 May 2018, 20:06

Crawley were knocked out of the NCC when French Winger Eduard Tenaillon scored a double.
MDHJ started off well with multiple shots at Noor Hossein, most of which were kept out. 19 minutes in Adok Gawron was injured, which meant Torry Darker came on for him. And just 10 minutes after the substitution, MDHJ’s pressure payed off with an opener by Eduard Tenaillon from a tight angle.
However, not long after, Crawley got an equaliser. Ron Bonen played the ball through to Shane Deed, who layed it off to winger Sefton Bradford, smashing it home under the keeper.

In the second half, MDHJ got a second through Eduard Tenaillon again, a fantastic strike into the bottom left hand corner to put MDHJ ahead, in front of 200 travelling fans.
The game fizzled out for Crawley, and MDHJ were looking for a third, which they didn’t get in the end. Crawley knocked out of the NCC, but have made it to the 3rd round for the first time in many seasons.
