A hat trick from Sam Fenwick at the Broadfield Stadium helped Crawley reach round 3 of the FA Cup.
The Reds started the game poorly, conceding in the 8th minute after a quick free kick found the feet of Beniamin George Enescu, who fired home from the edge of the area. 0-1
However, the Reds drew level on 39 minutes, with Sam Fenwick unleashing a rocket into the top left corner from outside the area. 1-1
6 minutes later, Crawley hit the front. Midfielder Palmere Casemore drove through the opposition defence and shot from the edge of the area, striking into the top right corner. 2-1
The away side seemed to wake up in the second half, and equalised in the 66th minute. After Crawley defender Sprota Winyard was dispossessed, Stationen counter attacked, resulting in Beniamin George Enescu firing past Darrold Devery from inside the area. 2-2
On 77 minutes, Enescu completed his hat trick and put the away side in the lead, slotting home from inside the area to send the away fans into ruptures. 2-3
However, the Redmen didn’t lose spirit, and with just 2 minutes of normal time remaining, Sam Fenwick received a quick pass from Brachtmar Hitchen and lobbed the keeper from outside the box to level things up. 3-3
Into injury time, and the Reds made one last attack to avoid going to extra time. Sam Fenwick cut inside from the left flank and fired into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box, to complete his hat trick and send Crawley into the 3rd Round of the FA Cup. 4-3
