Season 2020-31 will be remembered by F.C. Viitorul Fans as the second season in the 1st French Division, Ligue 1 and the first time the youth team played in the U23 first division also following the separation between youth and senior teams.

This is a remarkable achievement for a team that was bought for a very small sum and trained since the LTF, reaching their peak on the recently upgraded PTF.

With the exception of the ML and MR, which account for 7M of the total team's price of around 13.5M C, all the players were trained in the club from a young age for the most part and some from the 48-55 rating.

In an uneventful season in League 1, we managed the 15th place and with it the full Sponsorship bonus totaling 432,954 C and also the Media rights of 199,023 C.

This was a good financial season, better then previous in 2nd division with 3,781,974 C in combined tickets prices for both teams in 1st division.

This season, one of the older players ( https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/13291489-alexander-mahorney ) got very cheeky and asked for absurd amount for contract renewal so the decision was to punish him and sell him at a loss while replacing with a similarly skilled MO rated 62 at 27yo. We welcome Cobus Hulse to the club ( https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/13553986-cobus-hulse ), valued at 3.6M (a drop from 4.6M previously) bought for 3M and which we hope can help use in the following season maintain a high Div2 position. after this swap the team value went up to 140M. This is enough to hope for an upgrade to WCTF soon.
Due to this swat the season's balance was close to zero (-16,112 C). Future first team replacements are expected to drive our balance close to 0. Next our veteran player and team captain asked for an early retirement from playing in the elite and will be looking for a new club in the lower leagues where he can still make an impact and keep leading teams and mentor youth for the following 2-4 season.

After renewing the contracts for over 1M the remaining balance stands just under 60M, quite far from the WCTF unless we sell one of the 3 top talents in the team.
