2020-26: The dirtiest of the dozen

Written 30 June 2020, 12:34

Lokomotive Bryggen finish season 2020-26 in a disappoiting 12th place. Even though the team was never in serious danger of relegation, 12th place is only one place free of relegation, so that's most certainly not acceptable.

Early in the season, centre forward Rodolfo Gambino was unexpectedly sold for a profit of 2.7M. Bryggen choose to bring in a youngster to replace him. 25 year old Finn Terho Kosteikko set the club back an amazing 23M. That is Bryggen's most expensive aquisition ever - can Terho live up to that? Only time will tell. For what it's worth, he was the team's topscorer with 8 league and 5 cup goals in his first season, so he definitely looks promising

Chief Dealer Lick Neeson managed to make some great trades this season. We haven't been used to that lately, and it showed in the financial report as Bryggen brought home 16.7M this season.

We haven't got big expectations for the coming season but would for sure like the team to climb the standings a bit. We don't want to see another 12th place
