In season 2020-29, Lokomotive managed to bring home it's second bronze medal in team history. The Bundesliga is a very competitive league with a lot of teams on the same level. Valencia is by far the strongest team and they won the gold for the third season in a row half a mile in front of second. But the secondary medals is up for grabs for around ten teams in the league, and finally Bryggen took advantage. In the DFB-pokal, Bryggen said their farewell in the round of 16.

27 year old Scotsman Bernard Burns (a descendant of Scottish national poet Robert Burns) was bought for 20.55M at the end of the season to replace aging Canadian Francis Cullen at offensive midfield. Cullen has yet to find a new club.

Since no players from the starting 11 was sold due to age, trading activities resulted in a profit of 4M. The clubs financial result as a whole came out at +10.25M
