Another dissapointing season for Lokomotive Bryggen has just ended. In the league, Bryggen finished in 7th place, whereas the Coppa Italia campaign ended in the semifinals.

Four games into the season, Argentinian left midfielder Nicolas Antelo was sold for 26M - a trade that made Head Treasurer Enid Ford A'Kash a profit of 5M. Antelo's replacement was 28 year old Belgian Olivier Felix (20M). Felix is actually more of an offensive midfielder but he played half the season at left midfield. That wasn't very successfull so 27 year old Ulsterman Ainbheartach Deady was brought to Bryggen Arena for 24M.

In the off-season two changes to the defence was carried out. Dutchman Danny van Heemskerck og South African Juda Madlala were sold and replaced with the two substitutes that has previously been part of the starting 11: Russian Mahatma Piaskovsky at the left and new team captain Omed Imaad-Udeen in the center.

The sales of Antelo and Madlala along with some other good trades by Chief Dealer Lick Neeson had a massive impact on the financial result, which came out at 19.8M.

Lokomotive Bryggen now leaves Italy for Greece. The Greek federation has found a spot in 1. Division for Bryggen, so we will see right away whether Bryggen can be competitive in the old philosophers' country
