After having achieved a 3rd place finish in the 4th division a few seasons ago, the club faced the perfect storm, as it was hit with several injuries and retirements within the senior squad. This led to a relegation to the 5th division, but Spinazzola has now won an immediate promotion back into the English 4th division. On the prospects for the upcoming season, Leonardo Spinazzola said: "We are delighted to be back in the 4th division, and we will do our very best to achieve our target of a Top 8 finish. The squad is in a very good shape, but we may add a few bodies in the midfield, where we are a bit light at the moment. However, we have to manage with a relatively limited budget. A season in the 5th division had an adverse impact on our finances".
