It has been announced that Christopher Rush, an English left-winger, is to join Bathgate Vikings in order to replace Moesen Hier, who scored two goals in just five appearances. Rush is set to make his debut against Bongo FC and Bathgate are pleased to have found Hier's replacement. Currently sitting on top of the seventh tier's eighth group with seventeen games won from seventeen, it soon became apparent from day one of the new season that there was no way Bathgate wouldn't be promoted back to Group Four of the sixth tier. The Vikings are spearheaded by the Flying Finn (Purho), his right-hand man Wistan Sixsmith, Northern Irish star Billy Meeny, Faroese wizard Steintor Thomsen, and now Rush.
