Review of Season Four - Italy Division 4 Group 8

Yet another good season …. Well for the First XI at least

The First Team managed ‘another’ 3rd place finish, missing out on promotion only by goal difference.
There are different sections of the crowd who believe the constant consistency of finishing third is deliberately orchestrated to avoid promotion followed by instant relegation. Whether there is any substance to that remains to be seen.

Having gained promotion the U23's struggled in the Division Three and as expected were relegated having won just two games.

Business in the transfer market was good - better than expected. Proceeds from transfers enabled the training ground to be upgraded from ‘small’, The final corner of the First XI’s ground was completed and repairs to both the First Teams and U23’s ground were completed.

Looking ahead ...

If transfer trading goes well further of field developments will continue at current pace … ahead of schedule. On the field, both teams are looking good and another successful season feels likely
