Panchur Muri delivered a complete performance as Godmersham Town were overwhelmed at a joyous Bandar Seri Begawan Arena.
Godmersham's renaissance under their new English manager already has the tangible reward of 9th in the table, a feat that seemed impossible before, but Panchur Muri unleashed a brutal reality check on their progress with a severe thrashing.
Panchur Muri took control of what should have been a tight game, with Louppe and Alba missing presentable chances, when Muri captain Kwong-ku Chun applied a smooth finish to Mazzucato's perfect pass 8 minutes into the game. Roger o Gaughan then added a brace before the break to consolidate the victory for Muri with more than 45 minutes to go.
The second half was a tale of sheer joy for Panchur Muri and unrelenting misery for Godmersham Town, starting after 52 minutes when Kwong-ku Chun's header diverted Vahteristo's driven cross past goalkeeper Gudmundsson.
Chun bamboozled Ochs to play in o Gaughan for another classy finish twenty minutes later before the Irishman resumed his long-time role of Godmersham tormentor by getting on the scoresheet again.
Chun ended a swift counter-attack by lashing a finish high past Gudmundsson and the rout was finalised as o Gaughan flashed another header in from Mazzucato's cross.
Panchur Muri re-extend their lead to 3 points past Ashton United, and are ominously chasing a confident promotion to Division 6.
Bongolium the Cheeky, brother of the great Bruneian footballer Bongolo the Wise had this to say about the performance: 'Polis patut marah, mereka tangkap peminat kami hanya kerana merejam lelaki gay, hanya perkara biasa di sini.
