Knights Rising Through The Ranks

Written 5 August 2009, 18:00

After many seasons Languishing in Division 7 Status the Knights have blitzed they way through to back to back promotions and are now set mid table in division 5. Many people have wondered how this has been achieved, some say its due to good management off the pitch with shrewd investments on the stadium capacity which then allowed them to raise seasonly funds to increase the transfer kitty, some say it was down to good management on the pitch in terms of tactics n the transfer of players. Alot of people go with both, as the shrewd investment off the pitch helped form a steady base and also create the funds for the signing of some very good players, as sown in the management on the pitch option as the signing of Pavel Grund a former div 3 star who as the cb and captain has been top scorer over the past 2 years with fantastic match records and his high tempo performances have seen him ranked as 1 of the best players in his division aswell as being seen to have singlehandly led the flourishing young starlets of the knights through the ranks to very competetive football.

Hopefully the recent successes on the pitch can be further enhanced by more investment in both the training facilities and a further increase in the capacity of Cygnus Glade, and this should help to establish The Knights in Division 5 in England.
