Moody Bow

2015 - First installment

Firstly a very Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you all have a great New Year, especially those about to undergo life changing scenarios smiley I feel for you brother!
2014 was both a very productive VM year and mildly stressful – for that reason the start to this lovely New Year will be super relaxing!
The plan is to build and manage a squad of players made exclusively from The Bow Academy – warts and all! ...... mostly warts smiley
I will use this time to develop and sell other players but none of them will officially wear The Bow shirt on the field of battle. I have set myself the heady target of England Div 6 position 7th – which was the highest league finish for the previous comical challenge (see profile).
So far I have created about 10 of my own youths and none of them have been close to a talent status. This is a nice twist on how I normally operate as I used to just discard youths unless they looked very promising……….wakey-wakey Neil ……………..so that meant they all got dumped, even the talents.
Over the next month, or however long I keep this up, any talent created will receive instant god-like status at the club, become club captain and be removed from boot cleaning duty – this will be replaced by auto-graph signing duty smiley
I will be doing battle with my good friend Spireta Prague. Unfortunately for me he has always looked after his home grown so has a nice little selection of players ready made to slot into this kind of challenge. I’m playing catch-up!
COME ON YOU BOW!

All the best for your new challenge from the Finnish mob at Vale Park.

Cheers Russell. I think we'll need it - although we have managed to create two talents!!! Wohoo including an all important goalkeeper.

I was curious about your whole side being called Moody, then found this press release.

Trying to do something similar but must admit I am discarding talentless youths.

Good luck to you and Spireta Prague, who seems to be a step or two ahead dare I say :-) !
