Diament Garwolin, representing Georgia in the ONTWC, have won the Wooden Spoon Competition, beating England I (Leam Lane FC) 3-2 on aggregate! As an added bonus, the unstoppable Besarion Chokheli awarded the Golden Boot along with Scotland's Harry Swan, as both finished with 16 goals!!!

The home leg was won 2-0 by the Diamonds, and they looked to be in a good position to finish the job off in the second game.
However, early into the second half of the away match, disaster struck! Givi Prangulashvili was sent off, and the Georgians had to hold on for 40 minutes with 10 men. England saw the opportunity and took it well, scoring 2 quick-fire goals to put the overall score level.
When it all started to look a bit desperate for Georgia, something truly special needed to occur. And it did! Out of nowhere, the superb Besarion Chokheli stepped up to the plate, to break away against the run of play and put the ball into the back of the net with barely two minutes remaining on the clock.
England: shell-shocked, Georgia: jubilant! At the final whistle, the fans went into a frenzy, as Chokheli's team-mates rushed to celebrate with their captain. Diament Garwolin have once again proved their worth on the international stage!!!

Fun fact: Besarion Chokheli has so far got the highest goals per game ratio in the club's history, at 1.70 (240 in 141). The legendary Shaho Shahgholi is second, at 1.47 (578 in 394).
