Besarion Chokheli has put away his 1000th goal for Diament Garwolin!

The historic moment came in the 5th minute of a home match-up against Laumann FC in the league, which eventually ended 4-1 to the Diamonds (the Georgian was named Man of the Match).

Chokheli has been Garwolin’s most prolific goalscorer for quite some time, having surpassed Shaho Shahgholi’s old record of 578 goals a couple of months back, but this astonishing new landmark of a millennium, achieved at the age of 34, could prove very difficult for future generations of players to beat.
The fans have since given Besarion the nickname “Millennium”, and a shirt number 1000 with that magnificent achievement written across the back - he is set to wear it during a charity match.
