Incredible Sale! Oniani sold for millions!

In what was by far the most extraordinary sale in the clubs history, the Diamonds live up to their name as the 15 year old defender Vlasi Oniani was bought by Senpai Notice Me for a biblical sum of 45,000,002 C! Yes, that's right, forty five million and two credits! The fans are absolutely ecstatic as they sense the dawn of a new era for the club.

Oniani, who plays at left-back, was discovered by talent scouts at the youth academy just days ago, but it immediately became clear that this player is something special. His dedication in training sessions was incredible, and so the young Georgian quickly drew attention from a number of big clubs, including the reputed La Primera side Ulm Warhawks. In the end, Senpai Notice Me and Juventus Torino battled it out in a bidding war, which ended as the former placed a bid of seismic proportions: 45 million credits - a sum that increases Diament Garwolin's entire budget by some 500%!
This is by far the biggest transfer fee ever received by the club, beating the previous record of 1,950,000 C obtained from the sale of teenage centre-forward Emzar Ingorokva, who currently plays for Danish Division 5 side Mejdal Idrætsklub, and is widely regarded as a "wonderkid".

Lord Radz has commented on the sale, saying: "I'm amazed. It's like a dream - I never thought we would have that much money at our disposal... It's important that we don't lose our heads at this point. I intend to upgrade the training facilities at the club, and then... maybe some activity in the transfer market... but we'll have to think it over the next few days, to ensure any decisions taken are sensible and don't damage the club in the long-term."

The fan club is jubilant after receiving the news, as supporters hope that this cash injection is just the propulsion Diament needs to reach new heights in the league ladder. Quick reminder: the best place ever achieved by the club came in the 2012-14 season as the Diamonds finished fourth in German Division 5, Group 10. Could this massive transfer budget mean a first-ever foray into Division 4? We'll just have to wait and see.

Up the Diamonds!
