Teenage Wonder kid Neil Curtis has been called into the New Zealand U17 squad for the first time. The right sided midfielder who is strong on both feet has played for the first team 32 times scoring once.

His manager, Tony Aster, spoke to journalists at training today saying "The lad has done brilliant for me and his call up is recognition of all his hard work." He added "Many questioned his passing and thought his training was too up and down but the board stuck by me and we gave the lad his first professional contract and hopefully he has a big future in the game".
