AFC Up The Hill manager, Ray Throvers, has moved quickly to discipline two of his senior players after reports of a drunken brawl between a number of players at a hotel.

30 year old Midfielder Sigfrid Seiler has been effectively released with immediate effect by being put on 24 hour auction and first team keeper Adrian Woodley has been transfer listed at what some experts claim is "well below market value".

The incident happened at a hotel used by the club before there recent fixture with FC Hængeløg which ended in a 0-0 draw. Both players played the full 90 minutes but neither shook the managers, or each others, hand at the full time whistle.

Throvers said in his post match interview, "There are a couple of players in that dressing room that I wouldn't have pull on the shirt again. Senior players who should know better. I would rather have played youth teamers and lost the game than have to pay those two."

Eyewitnesses claim a brawl started between the players in the bar the night before the game and involved more than just the two players mentioned.

The club have said in a statement. "This is an internal matter and we will not be making any further comment".
