It's a sad day at Fir Hill as it has been released that 3 layers will retire from football. The first to retire is Chaviv Kempinski, who was not always a regular at the club. The 34 year old played 301 matches for Partick scoring 8 goals in his time.

The next to retire is 35 year old Israelian Ziv Gross, who the fans came to love as one of the most influencial players at the club. Ziv played 354 games with 108 goals and countless assists, the number 9 jersey will always be remembered for Gross.

The last to retire is the clubs highest achiever, breaking multiple records in his time as a club legend. Icelander Hreinn Hjalmtysson has decided to retire at the age of 36. Hjalmtysson become the most worshipped player at Thistle, playing 727 matches and scoring a record breaking 1304 goals in his spell at Thistle. Hreinn was asked whether he regrets not moving to a bigger club and his respons was simply 'I don't regret a single moment, yes I will still wonder if I would have made it a bigger club but I don't need to prove things to other people. The fans, team mates & manager made this home for me and I wouldn't have it any other way.' Out of respect it is said that Hjalmtysson's No. 88 shirt will be retired. And there is even talk of a statue in his name

In their last full season all 3 players helped Partick gain promotion and all 3 said that they're sad to leave but they have faith in the youth coming through. Ziv Gross and Hreinn Hjalmtysson are to stay on at the club as trainers.

In transfer news 31 year old Mario Calvente Rey has been sold to AFC Wrexham for a sum of 33,334c
