Kopite trio called up for internationals

RB Spion Kop FC trio Peljee Gungaadorj,Tomas Gilbertson and Mohammed Khursda have been called for their respective nations for the upcoming friendlies.

Peljee Gungaadorj, 17, who grew up in England has been called up for Mongolia U17, he has been given the number 17 jersey.

Tomas Gilbertson, 16, has been called up by the United States U17 team and is expected to start against England.

Mohammed Khursda, 16, is expected to warm the bench for Iraq U17 team but this shows how much he has progressed since arriving at the Kop.

Both Peljee Gungaadorj and Tomas Gilbertson arrived at the club at the age of 15 for a reported combined fee of 60k while Mohammed Khursda also arrived aged 15 for 7k.

"Whenever a player represents his country, it builds pride for the club. These players work ethic has got them this far and the progression reflects our youth policy and how everyone deserves a second shot which these players have received through us." Said RB Spion Kop FC manager Britton.
