OVERVIEW
Status: Team Building

Overall I feel the team is still a 3 weeks away in terms of rating progression from competing at the very top of the VM footballing pyramid, but positive progress has been made both on and off the field this season which gives fans huge optimism for what is to come from this team.

Team Average Rating: 88
Vifa Rank: #955
League Position: 2nd - SCO Div 3
Cup Performances: 1st SCO Cup smiley

ON THE PITCH
LEAGUE
Whilst in third tier of Scottish football, you seldom expect to find yourself in the same league group as a current Super Cup team. From the outset I wanted to put emphasis on player training during the season and therefore didnt feel like contesting FC Odense United for the 1st place spot. Home game against Odense resulted in a dissapointing draw for us being the better team despite Christli Koppen's 25th minute sending off. The away game ended in a 3-1 loss due to centre forward
Parker Bodley's release clause being triggered and thus contesting the game with effectively 10v11. Happy to take 2nd place all in all.

CUPS
Had a fairly straghtforward run the the semi-final this season and then endured a tough semi-final against Ølstykkes Stolthed who had an average rating of 93. We won the game 2-1 with Günter Piontek scoring an extra-time winner, but the match was nowhere near as close as the scorline suggests.

The final was against fellow forum user and 7-time Scottish Cup winner Johns Army who had an average rating of 91. The first half was entirely one-sided with my team creating a flurry of chances and Johns Army failing to muster a single shot on goal. We went into the break 1-0 up thanks to a 30-yard wonderstrike from right forward Flamur Deda. We had to absorb strong pressure from Johns Army in the second half but managed to see out the game with the 1-0 scorline intact and deserved winners on the night smiley

I decided not to defend our Newcomers Cup title this season because I felt it was a pointless competition for a gold star team and more importantly could use the extra energy for harder training sessions instead.

OFF THE PITCH
TRAINING
Easing off in matches this week paid dividends with a stellar week on the training field. The first team averaged a huge 203% throughout the week despite hammering key stats throughout. A similar startergy is to be deployed next week so hopefully the players can replicate their training results from this week.

Team Average: 194%
Best Training Day: 214% - Monday
Best Player Average: 247% - Rogelio Retiz
Best Training Score: 328% - Flamur Deda

TRANSFERS
29yo Centre Forward Parker Bodley (89) was sold off the Transfer List for 14.9m, giving a +4.9m profit in little over 2 weeks. He was replaced by 28yo fellow countryman Cingetorix Durban (88), costing 12.1m off auction.

Over the next season, our priority is to recruit a specialist Central Defender, and also potentially look to rebalance the forward line if the opportunity arises.

Aim is more of the same for next season. Thank you for reading smiley
