Welcome back to the Trufflers United news room - where there are a new crew in place - sponsered by the clubs well known supporters - playonic.

Trufflers first team disbanded

By mutual consent, the 1st XI of Trufflers United was disbanded last night. All players, barrind Itaka, left the club - some were due retirement and others moved on to new clubs.

Trufflers have been monitoring their financial progress and have weighed up potential new buys which will be reported on as time goes on.

Stadium upgrade possibility

Directors at the club have claimed they have the financial support of the owners to upgrade to a huge 20,000 seater stadium in southern France - a dream many world class players have looked to live.

Other options include Spain, Greece, Turkey and the famous Italy where the club have played so often in the past.

When asked on the matter, Hazwoo Watezini had this to say: "It's a fantastic option to have. It has been a dream of mine to make this stadium a reality - and I'm willing to take the chance. However, it is such an expensive reality costs would expect to total to over 4,400,000 credits which would result in a huge dent to our budget".

Former legend and assistant Nicola Aulenti added "Obliviously when I played, Italy was the heart and soul of the club. Anywhere in Europe is on the cards really, and this is the last hold up in the finalisation of the move".

Youth team continue to impress

The young stars of Trufflers United have continued to develop and flourish. The club have owned many of these players throughout their careers - the Transfer Value Association (TVA) added they totalled to values of over 5,000,000 credits, however manager Hazwoo Watezini is determind to keep the squad.
