Migel Angel Acosta, the Tigers keeper, received a 10/10 rating and a MOTM award after countless amazing saves to help Trufflers United to victory.
Acosta is retiring at the end of the season and had this to say: "We are in a good position in the league so it is good to see us progress to the last 16. Hopefully I can go out with a bang in the cup!!""
It was 1-1 at the end of normal time, courtesy of a Tony Uduak strike, before after many saves in normal time, Acosta saved from 3 close range one on one's where the striker looked strong favourite. After making yet another inspiring save, Acosta released Daniele Garrido who found Uduak, suddenly United were 2 on 1 as the captain squared to Aurek Zamoyski who fired home in the 112th minute to send Trufflers Trench into raptures and the Aqua's into the last 16.
