Trufflers TV is delighted to report we have refreshed our deal to show EVERY Aqua's match this season, including pre season games, cup match es and friendlies. The deal has now been going for a fantastic 6 years and we are delighted it is going to continue.
In other news, Trufflers United today bid farewell to @HermanStephens and @CletoCamberos after both made over 100 appearances for the club. Stephens was a solid member of the team at left centre back for many seasons but has recently been classified surplus to requirements. Camberos was a heroic goalkeeper who played 163 games for the club gaining an average rating of 6.3 before he was replaced by Sergiu, the Romanian international keeper. The club wishes both the best for the future.
As well as this Tacito Perugini, Faik Zilimbola, Januario Cogo, Edwin Toure will all be leaving the club in the coming few days due to retirements. Watezini admits it will be "extremely difficult" to replace these players. Perugini played a handful of games in midfield, and Edwin Toure provided a strong, powerful midfield pivot for the side. Zilimbola has guided the club through tough times as he was the only member, excluding Calvin Snow and Nduku Niemach, to last through the last era at the club, and has been a regular at left wing. Cogo was a product of the youth development system at the Aqua's and had recently returned to the Blues to finish his career here, often seen alongside Daniele Garrido as an ideal sweeper for the side. We wish all of them a happy retirement.
Watezini says he will find it very hard to replace these players, particularly as funds are "very limited" and stretched. Idzi Karisicki the Trufflers United youth player may be on his way and the club are hoping to get a decent amount of money from his sale.

Trufflers TV are delighted to announce that the Aqua's have survived relegation and will be playing Division 2 football again next season. Jonass team downed Nyborg to secure Trufflers' place in the league next season having finished on 30 points in 12th position. Ubaldo Aguilar was listed as player of the season, having netted 21 vital goals.
