Elfiaz Carnevale leaves be mutual consent

World class Brazilian striker Elfiaz Carnevale will today leave the club.

Carnevale has been part of an exceptionally successful period of time for Trufflers United, having reached the NCC Semi-final, Portugal Cup last 16, as well as helping the Aqua's to 2 promotions in 3 seasons.

Carnevale has taken the majority of goalscoring pressure onto his back, netting 125 goals in 105 performances for the club. Often compared to Aqua's legend, Effiom Cyracuss, Elfiaz now moves on for a new stage of his career.

Hazwoo Watezini had this to say:

"He's been a fantastic and loyal server to the club and we wish him best where-ever he goes. The decision was not one due to his performances being poor, as they have been exceptional! He has been a great and will go down as a lethal striker in our history books. We just both felt it was time for him to take a further step forward in his career, and fulfill his true potential"

"Financially it will also be beneficial for the club, as due to retirements we need a reshuffle"

Asked whether there are any particular targets that Watezini has in mind, he replied.

"Yes, of course. There are many. We need midfielders and of course a right back, and now a striker."

Over 3 million credits are expected to be made available to Watezini for todays transfer market, so keep an eye out on his dealings and we'll keep you up to date.
