Trufflers United manager Hazwoo Watezini guided the club to a record 5th place in Division 2 last season and says that the club will "push on" and "challenge for promotion again this season".

Club hero Ticho Melendez has retired. Ticho was a fantastic goalkeeper for the Aqua's, playing 235 games with an average rating of 6.8 against some of the leagues top strikers. This season was Melendez's best, being named man of the match on an incredible 5 occasions, as well as receiving the player of the season award at Trufflers United, narrowly pipping Dario Feijo.

Midfield pair Raphael Anasstassiou and Felix Narciso have left the club for a combined fee of 1.8 million credits. The two, aged 36 and 38 respectively, moved on as Watezini freshened up his squad for the new season. He is rumoured to be interested in signing an unknown Belgium 31 year old CDM to replace them.

He is also in the market for a new goalkeeper after the retirement of Ticho, and perhaps a defender or another midfielder to boot.
