Trufflers United continued their bid for the Division 4 title once more as they faced their "Bogey team" Baunes Rockere.

Two seasons ago, Rockere pipped united to the title in a thrilling race as both moved up to Division 3, soon to be back down again.

The match at the trench was to be a sad one for the Blue of United loosing a goal in the first 15 mins before loosing another 30 mins in. Rockere were on top of play and fans began filing out of the trench at half time with 0 shots and 0-2 at the break.

However, an inspired Leuger flighted an exellent through ball to Miguel who slotted home to make it 1-2 55 mins in.

Again, Leuger picked up the ball on the half way line and spread it to Patino who gave it back to Leuger on the edge of the box, With no hesitation Leuger smashed it into the roof of the net from 25 yards! The fans, who had arrived back at the stadium by now, went crazy as Marshall was booked for over - celebrating.

As United tried to hang on for the draw, late on Simon Walton received a red card for a proffesional foul and is now out for 4 games. With only a few seconds left Rockere lofted the ball into the box, Holguin the captain chested it down and ran to the halfway line for united, a brilliant cross wide to Marshall then a wipped in ball to the penalty box which met the imperious forehead of Miguel Meridous who headed home to see the 8,000 fans go wild as United took the points winning 3-2.

A truely great match leaves United at the top of the table after 5 matches:
