Massive parties is going on in the streets and local pubs are packed to the limit, as Maidstone Athletic managed to secure a 2nd place in the season, and thereby advancing to 2nd division.

The manager had the following statement: "It's been quite the journey. Coming from 4th to 2nd division in the worlds toughest leagues is an amazing accomplishment. We have put a lot of energy and devotion into this, but being able to stay in 2nd division will be a very hard task, if not impossible. We are dealing with very strong teams, teams that are just below Premier League level, but it will be a great experience for the lads and fans to experience som high-end football. Today is a happy day, and it's a day for celebration.
