Sildegapet dismantled by Devils

Sildegapet FC were comprehensively beaten by a far better Cheesey Devils side who have practically booked their place in the semi finals after dismantling Sildegapet 4-1. Josef Kiestra scored the opening goal in what looked as if it was going to be a massive upset but failed to hold onto their lead and lost 4-1.

Sildegapet started the better of the two sides and immediately got their reward just four minutes after the whistle got the game underway. Josef Kiestra ran free of his man and placed the ball perfectly into the roof of the net to lift the roof off the stadium. Fumiya Yamazoe should have scored just ten minutes later but his shot was deflected and it was an easy save for Hopkins. However, in the 40th minute, he finally got on the goal sheet with a short range stab that took a deflection leaving Hopkins with no chance of saving it.

The two sides went into the break on even terms but Cheesy Devils were certainly the better side but they were wasteful in front of goal. Eventually, Ellis Pykallsto gave the visitors the lead in the 68th minute before Branislav Kostyantyn added another just eight minutes later. In the eighty third minute, Fumiya Yamazoe gave the visitors a 4-1 lead that they never relinquished.

Cheesy Devils have, as expected won their opening two matches and have already qualified for the semi-finals except in the case of several bizarre results. For Sildegapet, they still have to fight for their place in the semi’s but with their goal difference standing as it is, they should make it through with a win against Bolton Wanderers. Cheesey Devils have shown why they are the favourites to win the tournament.
