Altrincham Town comprehensively beat Sildegapet FC 7-0 over two legs to book their places in the history books of the Bernese Oberland Cup which will restart soon. It was a close first leg with Onisim Ragulin proving to be the hero for the home side until the 85th minute. First of all the stopper was undone by a bullet header into the corner before Zedorik Swiatkowski scored his second of the evening. He turned the Félix Pinheiro and slashed home from 20 yards in the 87th minute. The third was from poor defending when there was a mix up between Félix Pinheiro and Ragulin. The mix up allowed Stu Partridge to walk in between the two whites players and square the ball for Zedorik Swiatkowski.

The whites went into the second leg three down, and it could only get worse with Zedorik Swiatkowski scoring his fourth of the match. Stu Partridge grabbed the second of the evening before adding his third of the tie just three minutes later. After the half, Sildegapet began to dominate, but Altrincham Twon showed their class on the break as Zedorik Swiatkowski scored his second of the evening.

Altrincham Town become the third team to win the coveted cup and Sildegapet once again fail to record success. However, they have now won second place in the tournament.
