Sildegapet relegated after costly error

Written 27 May 2013, 23:36

Sildegapet can confirm that they will not be lodging a complaint after they were relegated from winners of the wooden spoon to runners up. Sildegapet were far stronger in the second leg and despite conceding early on and had wrapped up what seemed to be final victory with five minutes remaining and Chowdhury decided on changes. Unfortunately, Roshardt was the player replaced by Al-Nawas which contravened a law which stated that eight players from one nation must be on the pitch at one time.

Chowdhury has said that they are very disappointed with the result but are concentrating on making amends.
