Karl Flach Schmied and Basil Halter have both been told that they are no longer needed as part of the Sildegapet team, rumours have it. Despite the clear qualities of both players Chowdhury has supposedly told them both that they may not be playing in the near future and to look for new clubs. Spion Kop, already taking two whites players are heavily linked with Michael Gutenberger, although their interest may have cooled over the 23 year old and may make a move for the two youngsters.

Chowdhury denies these reports and has told the press that no players will be sold unless their contract clause is broken. He has confirmed though that neither player is particularly happy with the set up at the moment, both feel that they are lacking game time.

Other rumours link Ano Tirkkonen, the Finish signing away from the Cottage after he was also unhappy with the lack of game time that he has received. However, with the rapidly ageing Fritz Zuber and Hans Rudolf Imfeld, the players who want to leave may find another opportunity at the Cottage.
